Since July 2, 1959, La Caravella has been the must-visit culinary stop on the Amalfi Coast.
Since our first steps nothing has changed, each step has served to strengthen our promise: only the best of the Amalfi Coast’s unique and inimitable flavors, with one goal: to transform our raw materials in the simplest way possible…
Simplicity is the most difficult goal to achieve in the kitchen.
Our Kitchen is a highly refined blend of the Ancient and the Modern. You will be served memorable dishes that have spanned the decades, but with subtle evolutions and improvements year after year, never bowing to fashion.
Every detail tells of our continuous research, our tradition, with so much attention to our Customer so that they can feel at home.

Our a la carte menu changes following the catch and dish of the day, it changes every day, it is not on line daily due to the difficulty in managing the up date.

Tradition and innovation tasting menu

9 course menu

(minimum 2 people)

This is the menu of our historic dishes…. It is a menu of a very fine mix of ancient and modern.
You will be served memorable dishes that have spanned the decades, but with subtle evolutions and improvements year after year, never bowing to fashion.
An all-around tasting of the Amalfi lemon, with the leaves, peel and juice of the lemon alternating with new dishes born in recent years…from innovation to Legend: “The Sun in the Plate.”

The cost of the menu is euro  200,00 per person, wine and drinks excluded.

For wine, you can, if you prefer follow the advice of our sommelier who can match wines to your preferences,  alternatively you  can choose from our list of wines.

10 course 60th anniversary menu

Since the 60s La Caravella has been the meeting point of the Grand Tour of the Amalfi Coast and today of the international jet-set. It is the place where tumultuous loves were born, where agreements never revealed were signed and which has contributed to make the Amalfi Coast what it is today: one of the most famous and admired places in the world.

This menu tells the story of our first 60 years,
it is a surprise menu and it’s a limited edition.

You can order it only online.

The cost of the menu is euro 260,00 per person, wines and drinks are excluded.
You’ll receive as a gift the menu and the book of La Caravella’s first 60 years of activity.

Small tasting menu

4 course menu

(for lunch only, minimum 2 people)

For those who want to gradually be introduced to the  cuisine of the Caravella.
This 4 course menu is available in fish or meat based dishes but only for lunch.
The price is euro 100,00 per person excluding wine and drinks.

This menu is not included in our booking form due to management problems.
When booking, write in the note that you prefer the small tasting, I remind you that it is only for lunch.

Gluten Free Menu

10 course menu

(minimum 2 people)

The Gluten Free menu is prepared with great care using genuine and above all, safe raw materials. In this menu we offer the same dishes from the Innovation and Tradition Menu, but in a gluten-free version.
The menu with the historical dishes of “La Caravella” alternated with the new dishes born in the last years… a tasting of the Amalfi lemon at 360°, with the leaves, peel and juice of the lemon with the new dishes of innovation and the Legend “Il Sole nel piatto” (The Sun in the dish).

For the wines you can be accompanied by the advice of our sommelier, who will be able to point out personalized pairings for you, or you can choose directly from our wine lists.

This menu is minimum for 2 people and is just bookable online.

The cost of the menu is Euro 200.00 per person, wines and drinks are not included.

The naturalist menu

7 course menu

Our Earth is very generous…
This menu is inspired by nature, with the base of our excellent Amalfi Coast raw materials and vegetables at the center. The naturist menu is for vegetarians.

The cost is 150€ per person and can only be booked online.

Wine tasting

(only for lunch, min 8 max 12 people)

Bookable as of June 1, 2024

Tasting of rare wines from very old vintages,
with combinations of ostriches prepared by our Chef.  The visit to our cellar of rarity will be included.
The wine tasting will be organised by our sommelier Tonino and our Chef Antonio.

The cost of the menu is euro 700,00 per person.

Champagne Tasting

8 course menu

(lunch only, minimum 6 people)
Due to the complexity of preparation, it must be ordered 7 days in advance

Available from May 1 to October 31, 2024

The champagne tasting menu by Massimo Billetto, one of the world’s greatest experts in Champagne, enriched by finger food tastings by chef Antonio Dipino, is a special gift for our guests, available exclusively for the months of July and September.

The cost of the tasting menu is euro 700,00 per person.

N.B. We cannot guarantee the  exact fish stated on the menu as it is bought daily and depends what is on offer on the day and the season.
