Lustre is a special decorative technique for obtaining the color of gold or ruby with iridescent or iridescent shades. The process is particularly sophisticated and was acquired from ceramic work, in the second half of the 15th century.

The reflections in the photos are characteristic of the technique used by artist Pasquale Liguori: that of lustre, which is ideal for giving a metallic effect to ceramics.
